What are the ingredients?
Each balm is crafted with high-quality, natural ingredients:

  • Grass-fed/finished beef tallow

  • Beeswax

  • Jojoba seed oil

  • Shea butter

  • Sweet almond oil

  • Jojoba esters

  • Manuka honey

  • Arrowroot powder

  • Vitamin E

Lemongrass version available: naturally scented with pure essential oil, never synthetic fragrance.

Is your tallow from grass-fed, grass-finished cows?
Yes. We only use 100% grass-fed and grass-finished tallow from pasture-raised cows in Ontario, Canada. This nutrient-rich fat is naturally abundant in vitamins A, D, E, and K that deeply support skin health.

Is the balm vegan?
No. Our balm contains grass-fed beef tallow, beeswax, and Manuka honey, so it is not vegan. It is, however, always cruelty-free and ethically sourced.

Is it non-comedogenic (non pore clogging)?
Yes. While rich and nourishing, the balm won’t clog pores. We carefully avoid pore-blocking oils like coconut and olive, and instead include:

  • Jojoba oil and esters to balance natural oils

  • Shea butter and almond oil for lightweight hydration

  • Beeswax to lock in moisture without suffocating the skin

  • Arrowroot to keep the finish soft and smooth

  • Manuka honey and vitamin E to calm and clarify

Many customers even notice clearer, more balanced skin with regular use.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Because the fatty acid profile of grass-fed tallow is so close to that of human skin, it’s gentle and soothing, even for eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, or reactive skin.

Is it safe for children and babies?
Yes. The Unscented Balm is safe for all ages. We recommend a patch test for little ones with delicate skin.

Do your products contain artificial fragrances or preservatives?
Never. Our balms are free from synthetic fragrance, parabens, and preservatives. Any scent comes naturally from the ingredients or pure lemongrass essential oil.

What’s the difference between Lemongrass and Unscented Balm?
The Lemongrass Balm carries a fresh, uplifting citrus note from pure essential oil. The Unscented Balm is fragrance-free, with only a soft earthy aroma from the natural ingredients, making it perfect for sensitive skin.

What is Manuka honey and why do you use it?
Manuka honey is a rare honey from New Zealand, prized for its antibacterial and healing qualities. In our balms, it helps calm irritation, support acne-prone areas, and encourage skin repair.

Does it smell like meat because of tallow?
Not at all. Our careful rendering process removes any meaty scent. The Unscented Balm has a subtle, earthy natural aroma, while the Lemongrass Balm carries a light, refreshing citrus scent.

How do I apply the balm?
Warm a small amount between your fingertips and gently massage into clean skin. The balm softens with body heat and spreads easily — a little goes a long way.

Can I use it on my face and body?
Absolutely. It’s safe for the face, lips, hands, elbows, heels, and any areas needing extra care.

Can I use it under makeup?
Yes. It makes a beautiful hydrating base. Apply a thin layer, let it absorb, and your skin will be smooth and nourished for makeup.

Can I use it as a lip balm?
Definitely. It heals and softens chapped lips naturally.

How often should I use it?
Most people apply once or twice daily. Use more often in dry, cold seasons, or less if your skin runs oily.

Will it leave my skin greasy?
No. The balm absorbs quickly, leaving skin soft and dewy but never greasy.

Can it help with eczema or psoriasis?
Many customers find relief for dry, irritated skin, including eczema and psoriasis. While not a medical treatment, its gentle, nutrient-rich formula supports skin comfort and repair.

What makes it different from regular moisturizers?
Unlike water-based creams, our balm is concentrated, water-free, and packed with active nutrients. That means deeper, longer-lasting hydration and more product in every jar.

🪞 Storage & Shelf Life

What is the shelf life?
Up to 12 months after opening. Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Use clean hands or the enclosed spatula for freshness.

What if it melts in hot weather?
Because we don’t use synthetic stabilizers, the balm may soften or melt in heat. Simply place it in a cool spot or fridge — it won’t affect quality.

Can I travel with it?
Yes. The balm is solid at room temperature and travel-friendly. Just keep the lid sealed and avoid high heat.

How long does shipping take?
Most U.S. orders arrive in 4–7 business days.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Free standard shipping is available on orders over $50.

How long is processing?
Orders ship within 1–2 business days. Each balm is handcrafted in small batches with care.

💛 Returns & Guarantee

What is your return policy?
We want you to love your balm. If you’re not satisfied, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full product refund. Please keep your packaging and receipt.

To start a return, email ecohappyplay@gmail.com with your order number and reason. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days once the item is received.

Note: original shipping costs are non-refundable.

What if my product arrives damaged?
If your order is damaged, email ecohappyplay@gmail.com within 48 hours with photos of the product and packaging. We’ll replace it at no cost.
